Craft your own adventure with Minecraft: Story Mode

Netflix has just released the first three episodes of Minecraft: Story Mode and you are able to create your own story from the start to the end! The last two episodes will be available for streaming on 5 December 2018.

Developed by Telltale Games, the story mode allows viewers to experience an adventure where they are given options to choose from so they can make their own decisions about what happens next. Interesting!

Although this is not the first time Netflix has done an interactive story mode like this – they released Puss in Boots and Buddy Thunderstruck a couple of years ago – this is the first time that such a game play is targeting a bigger audience. Also, apparently Netflix is planning to do the same style for an episode of Black Mirror!

Unfortunately, we think this could potentially be the last project from Telltale Games since there was a financial crisis which led to the firing of 250 employees without notice. Only a small team stayed put to finish this Minecraft project for Netflix. 🙁
