Virtus.pro wins Dota 2 Kuala Lumpur Major title
The Major of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit a.k.a. the Kuala Lumpur Major finals was held in Arena Axiata last week.
And popular Eastern European team, Virtus.pro, claimed dominance in the Dota 2 scene following a hard fought 3-2 victory over Team Secret.
FYI, Team Secret had Malaysian player Yeik “Midone” Nai Zheng, who was the only remaining Malaysian in the country to compete in the first-ever Dota 2 Major tournament.
The winning team, Virtus.pro walked away with a prize of $350,000 and 4,950 Dota Pro Circuit points while Team Secret took $170,000 and 3,000 Dota Pro Circuit points home.
Both teams will now rest and recuperate before preparing themselves for the next Dota 2 Major – the Chongqing Major – that will take place in January 2019.
Congratulations to everyone nevertheless! 🙂
