5 footballers who are not on Instagram

Instagram is a big thing nowadays and ALMOST every single soul in the world is on it but not these footballers…

1.Norshahrul Idlan

Most of the footballers on our list are Gen X and baby boomers, so we guess that’s one of the reasons they’re not on Instagram but we’re wondering why this 33-year-old footballer is not on Instagram. Known as ‘Mat Yo’, Idlan is currently playing for BG Pathum United, a Thai professional football club.

2.Gareth Barry

Another millennial, not an Instagram…seriously guys? Why are you all not on Instagram? Barry plays as a midfielder for EFL Championship club West Bromwich Albion. Previously he played for Aston Villa, Manchester City and Everton. We don’t think he’s ever going to be part of the Instagram community because let’s face it, he’s probably going to retire very-very soon as the average retirement age for a footballer is around 35-years-old. There is still hope though…

3. Kazuyoshi Miura

Kazuyoshi Miura or better known as Kazu is still actively playing at the age of 52. Currently, he plays as a forward for Yokohoma FC. We honestly think Kazu would have an interesting feed if he was on Instagram. Also, we hope he could share his fitness secrets because let’s face it… the guy is 52-years-old and can run faster than most of us.

4.Amri Yahyah

Another Malaysian footballer on the list, Yahyah plays as a forward for Sarawak United F.C. There is very limited information about Yahyah on the Internet except for his impressive football career. We have a huge amount of respect for such people; how are you able to be so private about your life in this day and age…

5. Heurelho Gomes

Gomes is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Watford. In March 2019, Gomes announced that he is going to retire at the end of the season to become a pastor. When questioned about this, he claimed that he felt a call from God. 100% sure he’ll not be on #ig anytime soon or ever…
