Juventus have been raising money to help coronavirus patients and it has been reported that Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is going to convert his hotels into hospitals and provide free treatment for coronavirus patients. Way to go!
Gremio players are protesting against the Brazilian Football Confederation for having to play matches even though the coronavirus is spreading rapidly in the South American nation. In a match that happened yesterday, players walked onto the pitch wearing face masks as an act of protest. The club manager, Renato Portaluppi said, “The whole world has stopped – shouldn’t Brazilian football stop as well? That’s our message and I hope they listen. We hope that good sense will prevail.”
