Coronavirus: Footballers who have tested positive
Let’s just say 2020 is not a good year for all… The world has been affected by the deadly Coronavirus and everything has been put on pause to stop the virus from spreading. That includes the football world. Find out which footballer has been tested positive for COVID-19.
In a post on Chelsea FC’s Instagram page, they revealed that Hudson-Odoi was tested positive for coronavirus and that they will partially close the training facility. The full men’s team squad, coaching staff and a number of backroom staff had to self isolate in line with UK’s government health guidelines.
2.Most Espanyol players
The Spanish La Liga club reported that six of their players and technical staff of RCD Espanyol de Barcelona were tested positive for Covid-19. They were initially suffering from mild symptoms. The club claimed that it all started when the team played against Atalanta in Milan last month.
After his family was hospitalised due to the virus, Mendy started self isolating. However, there are no updates on the result of his Covid-19 test. We hope the City player is healthy.
The 26 year-old player was tested positive for Coronavirus after he started suffering from a shortness of breath. He is not the first one to be tested positive for the virus at Juventus. Defender Daniele Rugani and midfielder Blaise Matuidi have also tested positive.
Three of the club’s staff and three Fiorentina players; Patrick Cutrone, German Pezzella and Dusan Vlahovic have tested positive for the coronavirus. The club, as per protocol, has isolated all the people involved.
