Coronavirus: Guardiola donates RM4.78 MILLION
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has donated RM4.78 million to help deal with the coronavirus outbreak in Barcelona, Spain.
The money was sent to the Angel Soler Daniel Foundation for the purpose of purchasing medical equipment. The fund is named after a doctor, who passed away in the 1970s, from Santpedor – Guardiola’s birthplace.
The foundation had raised just over RM157,000 after the initial plea and Guardiola’s personal contribution on Tuesday was a major boost for them.
Spain is currently on a nationwide lockdown after declaring a state of emergency over the weekend.
