Fati stars as Barca down Levante
17-year-old Ansu Fati scored two goals in two minutes to help Barcelona beat Levante 2-1 at the Camp Nou in La Liga this morning.
Having played at right wing-back in Quique Setien’s first two games, the teenager took full advantage of his chance to play upfront by linking up brilliantly with teammate Lionel Messi to score both goals.
Following Fati’s outstanding display, Barcelona head coach Setien was full of praise for the youngster.
“We have to look after him [Fati] because he can give us so much. I like what he did going forward but also the way he contributed defensive. He’s a huge talent.
“He is a kid who is still emerging. He has huge potential and today’s he’s made some more history with his two goals.”
Barcelona have now moved to three points behind Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
