Koeman rushed to hospital
Holland manager Ronald Koeman was reportedly rushed to a hospital in Amsterdam for an emergency heart operation.
According to his management company, the 57-year-old underwent a successful “heart catheterization” surgery after scans showed it was blocked.
The former Everton and Southampton boss had been out cycling before complaining of chest pain – he was then taken to Amsterdam UMC hospital in an ambulance.
The Ajax, PSV and Barcelona legend is expected to be able to return home today and there has been no suggestion so far that his condition was related to the coronavirus in any way.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, it in unclear when the Holland national team will play again.
