Piya denies retirement rumours
Former Kelantan captain, Mohd Badhri Radzi, has denied rumours claiming that he is set to retire from football.
Admitting that he has yet to sign a contract with Kelantan United, the 37-year-old, who is fondly known by fans as Piya, however insisted that he has no plans to hang up his boots just yet.
The former Malaysia national player added that the rumours about him planning to retire were probably made up by certain individuals.
“I’m still able to play and I still want to play. The news (speculation of retirement) is completely untrue.
“I have yet to sign a contract with Kelantan United, but I will meet the coach and the management team in the near future,” he told BH Sukan yesterday.
